The New Media Development RSS Aggregator

The New Media Development aggregator is an adaptation of our multi-purpose spider and is used to consume RSS based web-services.

The aggregator forms part of the NMD Content Management system and allows users to designate RSS feeds that they would like their site to consume for use.

Any given feed will be updated at most, every 7 minutes however it is typical for users to set a refresh interval of several hours thereby limiting the load placed on the providers RSS service.
