The ALDI Ashby 20 site provides information about the Asbhy 20 road race and uses an e-commerce system to take online entries.
Feeling that they had taken their original e-Commerce website as far as it could go, DIY Framing approached New Media Development in early 2006 for guidance in taking their e-business to the next level. The brief required an altogether new web site offering a fresh e-Commerce experience incorporating their vast product catalogue, a course booking system, downloadable articles and an interactive user forum whilst maintaining and building the number of visitors to the site. No mean feat - especially when the original site was already a busy one!
In the 12 months since DIY Framing took delivery of their new website, they have actively promoted their online business and worked closely with New Media Development in order to increase their visitor traffic, attract new custom and improve their online sales process making their site work hard for them. This has paid off in the form of quadroupling the number of unique site visitors and an overall increase in the time spent on the site from five minutes to more than 15 minutes per visitor.
